Mega Monthniversary Cake

I wanted to celebrate my 18th month anniversary, so I made this mega three-layer cake that was extremely time-consuming but definitely worth it. (:

The bottom layer is a moist chocolate cake; the middle is a nutella-infused cheesecake. Above that is a soft chocolate chip cookie layer, and the top most layer is a chocolate sour cream frosting that coats the whole cake too. In between all these layers are marshmallow creme. So I suppose if you count the frosting layers, these make a six-layer cake.

I was really pleasantly surprised at how the cake turned out, and will shamelessly declare it as one of the yummiest cakes I've ever made. I cleaned out plates and bowls (and spatulas) as I went along too ;)

This was the last cake I made before we flew off to Sydney (our first trip overseas together!)
